Purpose
Automatic cleaning of fluids from mechanical impurities larger than 5 microns.
Applications
Treated fluids: drinking and industrial water, water-oil emulsions, domestic and industrial wastewater, storm water, acid and alkali solutions, oils, petroleum products, etc.
Solid insoluble impurities are removed: sand, clay, rust, metal dust, organic matter suspensions, etc.
Main application areas: housing and utilities, heat and power, food, nuclear, chemical, petrochemical industries.
How it works
As with other mechanical filters, in FMC...A filters, fluid is cleaned by passing through a mesh filter element, and dirt particles are trapped by mesh.
In FMC ... a filters, the filter element is made entirely of stainless steel.
A special feature of the design of FMC...A filters is the system of regeneration of the clogged filter element. Its operation is based on the use of built-in hydroacoustic emitters, which are switched on simultaneously with washing liquid backwash. At the same time, the quality of regeneration of filter elements is even higher than in a standard ultrasonic bath.
The use of acoustic emitters allows us to use instead of "normal" smooth filter elements – corrugated ones, having a 5 ... 10 times larger filtration area and, accordingly, a higher dirt capacity.
